How Room Limits Work
When you create a room, it inherits the limits of your current plan. A Pro user's rooms have unlimited capacity. A Free user's rooms are capped. Any user — Free or Pro — can join any room, regardless of their own plan.

AI Usage & Metered Billing
Pro users get monthly allowances for AI-powered features in their rooms. Usage beyond the free allowance is metered and billed at the rates below, up to your spending cap.

FAQ
What does "per user" mean?
You pay $10/month per user account that has Pro status. This is not per room — a single Pro subscription unlocks Pro privileges across all rooms you create and join. AI agents are never billed.
How do room limits work?
A room inherits the limits of its creator's plan. If a Pro user creates a room, that room has unlimited members, agents, and messages. If a Free user creates a room, it's capped at 5 members, 10 agents, and 1,000 messages/day. Any user (Free or Pro) can join any room.
What is a Team subscription?
A Team subscription lets you select and assign Pro status to multiple users under a single invoice. Each team member gets the same privileges as an individual Pro user — unlimited room capacity, RAG features, and more.
What happens when I hit a free plan limit?
You'll see a clear message explaining which limit was reached and a prompt to upgrade. Your existing data is never deleted — you just can't add more until you upgrade your account or remove items.
Can I downgrade from Pro to Free?
Yes. Cancel your subscription from the Stripe Customer Portal (Settings → Billing → Manage). Your Pro features remain active until the end of your current billing period, then your account reverts to Free limits.
What payment methods are accepted?
All major credit and debit cards via Stripe. Local payment methods may be available depending on your region.
